Acts of Kindness
I am expressing my love for God through acts of kindness toward others.
Participating in life in a loving and kind manner every day, I express my love for God in ever-increasing ways through my attitudes and actions.
Some acts of kindness are unplanned, but sometimes putting love into action requires a little preparation. So I consider whether I’m aware of some kindness or assistance that I can act upon. Perhaps a person who lives nearby is not feeling well, and I could be of help. I might be able to share my time and talents in service to others in my community.
Through kindness and consideration, I give expression to the love of God within me toward my neighbors and beyond. As I actively share a blessing with others, I am blessed beyond measure in return.
“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”—Luke 10:27

my yoga mat
stepping onto my yoga mat has a power of its own. it isn't just some rectangular thing which I step upon during my practice. there is a profound sense of connection with mind, body and spirit, as well as, a connection to all others who have come to know this ancient practice we call yoga. i am able to find peace within; liberation from troubles that have made their way into my life. what i practice on the mat, i take with me off the mat. when i find myself in doubt, i know that i can bring myself to my practice, draw my attention inward and listen to the wisdom of silence.
step onto the mat... it will change your life....
